Plasson EF Branch Saddle
The Plasson EF Branch Saddle is an electrofusion branch-off fitting for PE pipe systems, clamping around the outside of an existing pipe to create a new branch connection without cutting out a section of the main pipe.
Fused onto the pipe using an electrofusion control box, the saddle melts its base into the pipe wall to form a permanent, homogeneous PE joint at the branch point, with no jointing compound, flame or mechanical clamp involved. Manufactured in PE100 and compliant with ISO 4427, ISO 4437, EN 1555, EN 12201 and AS/NZS 4129, it is dual-rated for both water and gas distribution networks.
