Plasson EF Tapping Saddle
The Plasson EF Tapping Saddle taps into a live PE main under pressure, providing a spigot service outlet fitted with a welding cap, so a connection can be made without draining the main.
Manufactured in PE100 and compliant with ISO 4427, ISO 4437, EN 1555, EN 12201, AS/NZS 4129, it is welded to the pipe using electrofusion: fused onto the pipe wall via a control box, the joint melts the fitting and pipe wall together into a single homogeneous PE structure, with no jointing compound, flame or mechanical seal involved.
