Pipe & Tube Gaskets
28 products
Gaskets prevent leakage from and into joined tubes or pipes while under compression. A gasket is a mechanical seal, which comes in a range of materials from rubber or graphite, to stainless steel and carbon steel, filling the space between two or more surfaces.
Gaskets generally span across three categories: non-metal, semi-metal and metal gaskets.
Non-metal gaskets: Non-metal gaskets are soft, often cheaper and corrosion-resistant and suitable in lower temperatures and pressures. Non-metal gaskets, such as rubber pads or asbestos pads are most used for flange sealing of medium to low pressure or pipes at room temperature.
Semi-metal gaskets: Metal composite gaskets have good flexibility, compressibility and low bolt loading capacity, suitable for medium pressure and occasional high temperatures.
Metal gaskets: These gaskets withstand high temperatures and pressures as well as corrosive substances without degrading or failing. Their resilience and reusability makes them a preferred choice for highly demanding environments.
