DDA Compliant Handrail

Under the terms of the Equality Act 2010 (previously the Disability Discrimination Act), reasonable adjustments need to be made to public and commercial buildings to overcome physical barriers which prevent disabled access. Our range of DDA compliant handrail fittings are designed to provide a non-discriminatory solution that complies with the equality act and Part ‘M’ of the building regulations. Building regulations recommend an outside handrail diameter size of between 40mm and 45mm.

Quick to install and constructed from galvanised fittings and tubes, our handrails are 42.4mm in diameter and come as hot dip galvanised as standard but can also be powder coated to RAL standard colours too (Subject to quantity and availability from the coaters).
