Solvent Weld Fittings

Flocon’s range of WRAS-approved solvent weld fittings are suitable for a variety of industrial and domestic applications, including pipelines conveying hot and cold water, potable water, refrigeration, and sewerage systems. 

Solvent weld waste fittings are joined using a solvent jointing compound that creates a permanent weld between the pipe and fitting. When solvent cement is applied to the outside of the pipe and inside of the fitting, it softens the surfaces by diffusing into the polymer. The pipe and fitting are then pressed together, creating a durable and watertight bond.
