Check Valves (non-return valves)
Check valves, also known as non-return valves, ensure that fluid flows in only one direction.
By preventing backflow, check valves protect pumps, pipes, and other valves from damage caused by reverse pressure.
Our range of check valves are available in a number of sizes (¼" to 12") and materials to suit a vast range of applications.
- Swing Check: Suitable for high-flow applications, offering minimal pressure drop.
- Ball Check: Durable and efficient, with a simple design.
- Wafer Check: Space-saving design, perfect for limited installation space.
- Dual Plate Check: High-performance, low-pressure drop design.
- Ductile Iron Double: Designed to regulate flow between a tank and a pump, these valves can also function as manual on/off valves for tank venting. When fluid flow ceases, the disc automatically swings into position to prevent backflow.
- Spring Loaded: ideal for gas and oil applications in residential, commercial, and industrial heating systems.
- Ductile Iron Flap: suitable for headwall or flange mounting, offering corrosion resistance and preventing debris and backflow in pipelines, thanks to its double-hinged design for excellent sealing.
How to select the right Check Valve for your application.
