Non-Asbestos Compressed Fibre Flange Gasket
This is a 5-inch nominal bore, non-asbestos flange gasket manufactured to ASME/ASA Class 150 specifications. Cut to an Inner Bolt Circle (IBC) profile at 3mm thickness, it seats cleanly inside the flange bolt circle to deliver a reliable, pressure-tight seal across a wide range of industrial piping systems.
The gasket is produced from compressed non-asbestos fibre, combining aramid fibres and inorganic mineral fibres within an elastomer binder matrix. This construction maintains the sealing performance and temperature resistance previously associated with asbestos materials, without the associated health and compliance risks.
At approximately 0.12kg per unit, the gasket conforms to ASME B16.21 dimensional standards and is compatible with ASME/ANSI Class 150 flange face dimensions. Select grades also meet BS 7531 Grade X and carry WRAS approval for use in potable water systems.
