Blücher Flanged Deck Penetration
The Blücher flanged deck penetration is a stainless steel sleeve assembly designed to route pipework through a steel deck without welding directly to the pipe. A bolted or clamped flange provides mechanical fixing to the deck structure, while elastomer sealing components maintain fire, gas, or watertight integrity at the penetration point. The non welding configuration simplifies installation and reduces on-site hot works, making it well suited to both new build and retrofit projects across marine and industrial environments.
Constructed from stainless steel, typically AISI 304 or AISI 316L depending on the service environment, the assembly offers strong performance in demanding or chemically aggressive conditions. Where fire rated penetrations are required, the product can be supplied to meet relevant fire resistance and safety standards.
Applications:
- Passenger ships, cruise ships, naval vessels, ferries, tankers and offshore support vessels
- Offshore oil and gas accommodation modules and utility systems
- Process plants, food processing, pharmaceutical and water treatment facilities
- Commercial buildings where drainage or service pipework passes through floors or walls
