Star Drive Reducer

The Star Drive Reducer is a valve actuator drive adapter that reduces a 14mm female star actuator drive to fit a 9mm valve stem drive. It is fitted when the actuator and valve have different shaft connection sizes, allowing torque to transmit securely between the two components.

Manufactured in cast steel, carbon steel or stainless steel depending on the application, the reducer is inserted into the larger drive socket of the actuator, allowing the smaller valve stem to engage properly while maintaining a secure connection under operating loads.

Reducers of this type are commonly fitted to ball valves, butterfly valves, gate valves and automated valve assemblies across a wide range of industrial settings.
