The Geberit Mapress Stainless Steel adaptor with union nut and plain end brings a demountable, conical-sealing connection into the Mapress Stainless Steel gas system, with a union nut in CrNi steel on one end and a plain spigot end for pressing into a Mapress pressing socket on the other.
Made in CrNiMo steel 1.4401 (EN 10088) and built specifically for the Mapress Stainless Steel gas range, it's fitted with a conical-sealing joint and a yellow HNBR O-ring — the gas-rated seal material — with a union nut that has its own sealing hole and a yellow protection plug to keep the plain end clean until it's fitted.
