The Geberit Mapress Stainless Steel adaptor to cutting ring connection gives a Mapress Stainless Steel gas run a compression-style cutting-ring outlet, for jointing onto pipework or components that use a cutting-ring (olive) connection rather than press-fit.
Made in CrNiMo steel 1.4401 (EN 10088) and built specifically for the Mapress Stainless Steel gas range, it's fitted with a yellow HNBR seal ring — the gas-rated seal material — with a pressing indicator that shows at a glance whether the joint has been correctly pressed, and a yellow protection plug on the pressing socket to keep the seal clean until it's fitted.
