The Geberit Mapress Copper flange PN 10/16 with pressing socket brings a bolted flange connection into the Mapress Copper gas system, with a Type A (smooth sealing surface) face to EN 1092-1 on one end and a standard Mapress press socket on the other — for jointing straight onto valves, meters and other flanged gas components without a separate flange adaptor.
Made in gunmetal and built specifically for the Mapress Copper gas range, it's fitted with a yellow HNBR seal ring — the gas-rated seal material, distinct from the standard water-duty range — with a pressing indicator that shows at a glance whether the joint has been correctly pressed, and a yellow protection plug on the pressing socket to keep the seal clean until it's fitted.
