Description
The Geberit Mapress Copper bend with plain end is a 90° elbow for the Mapress Copper gas system with one press socket and one plain spigot end, giving a ready-made transition point where a bend needs to run into a soldered, brazed or compression joint rather than another press fitting.
Made in Cu-DHP copper CW024A (EN 1412) and built specifically for the Mapress Copper gas range, it's fitted with a yellow HNBR seal ring — the gas-rated seal material, distinct from the standard water-duty range — with a pressing indicator that shows at a glance whether the joint has been correctly pressed, and a yellow protection plug on the pressing socket to keep the seal clean until it's fitted.
