Y-Type Pipeline Strainer

A Y-Type strainer is fitted into pipework to protect equipment further along the line from dirt, rust, scale, weld debris and other unwanted particles carried within a flowing liquid, steam or gas. The Y-shaped body houses a removable screen, allowing the internal element to be taken out, cleaned and refitted without disturbing the surrounding pipework.

Positioned upstream of sensitive equipment, the strainer catches debris before it can cause damage or blockages, helping to maintain smooth operation and reduce the risk of unplanned downtime.
