Stainless Steel 87.5° Pipe Bend
This 87.5° pipe bend is manufactured from AISI 316L / EN 1.4404 stainless steel, a low carbon austenitic grade containing chromium, nickel, and molybdenum. The near-right-angle geometry redirects pipe runs cleanly and precisely, making it well suited to both drainage and process piping installations where space and flow efficiency matter.
316L stainless steel performs reliably in aggressive environments. The low carbon content reduces the risk of sensitisation during welding, while the molybdenum addition provides strong resistance to chlorides, making it a sound choice for coastal, marine, and chemical settings. The material is non-porous, easy to clean, and holds hygienic surface properties throughout its service life — important considerations in food, beverage, and pharmaceutical pipework.
