Spirax Sarco AEL8 Series 24 Vac/dc Electric Linear Actuator 

The AEL83223PXO is an electric linear actuator from Spirax Sarco's AEL8 series, designed to automatically position a control valve in response to a control signal. Operating on a 24 Vac/dc power supply, it is built for modulating control across demanding process environments.

The unit includes a single potentiometer for accurate position feedback and a positioner card that enables precise modulating control. Two auxiliary switches provide signalling of valve position or triggering of external equipment such as alarms, pumps or interlocks. The metal enclosure houses an electric motor, gearbox and internal electronic positioner circuitry, with a valve stem coupling underneath for direct mounting onto a control valve.

Constructed from aluminium, steel, copper and engineering plastics, the AEL8 series is built to industrial standards. The actuator complies with IEC 60364, IEC 60947-1 and IEC 60947-3, and carries CE and UKCA marking. This is an actuator only and requires mounting to a compatible control valve to regulate steam, water, condensate or process fluids.
