Spirax Sarco SA122 Self-Acting Temperature Control System
The Spirax Sarco SA122 is a self-acting temperature control system that automatically modulates a control valve to maintain a set process temperature. It operates without electricity or compressed air, using a liquid-filled brass sensor, a 2m copper capillary tube, and a brass actuator to respond directly to process temperature changes. The set point is adjusted via a polypropylene knob located at the valve, covering a range of 40°C to 170°C. Constructed to comply with the EU Pressure Equipment Directive and UK Pressure Equipment (Safety) Regulations, and manufactured under Spirax Sarco's ISO 9001 quality management system, the SA122 is suited to Group 2 fluids including steam, water, and compressed air.
