Description
Short Radius 87 Degree Bend
A short radius 87 degree bend is a compact pipe fitting used to redirect flow direction within a piping system. The tighter bend radius makes it well suited to installations where space is limited and a standard long radius elbow is not practical. Available in carbon steel, stainless steel, PP-H, and PVC, the fitting can be selected to match the material requirements of the surrounding pipework.
At DN40, this fitting is commonly used in small to medium bore pipework across industrial, commercial, and building services applications. The 87 degree angle allows for near perpendicular directional changes while maintaining controlled flow transition through the bend.
Manufactured to recognised standards including EN 10253, ASME B16.9, DIN 2605, and EN 1451 depending on material, the fitting meets the dimensional and performance requirements expected in professional piping installations.
Applications:
- Industrial process pipework
- Building services and HVAC systems
- Water and wastewater infrastructure
- Chemical handling systems (material dependent)
- Drainage and soil pipework (PP-H and PVC variants)
Summary:
- Short radius 87 degree bend for compact directional changes in pipework
- Available in carbon steel, stainless steel, PP-H, and PVC
- DN40 bore size
- Weight range of 0.04 to 0.30 kg depending on material
- Manufactured to EN 10253, ASME B16.9, DIN 2605, and EN 1451
