Description
Plasson Male Adaptor Barrier
The Plasson Male Adaptor Barrier is a mechanical compression fitting for use with barrier pipe — MDPE pipe systems fitted with a protective barrier layer for use in contaminated ground conditions, such as brownfield or ex-industrial sites. It joins a length of barrier pipe to a male BSP-threaded connection.
Manufactured with a Polypropylene, high-grade copolymer body and nut, and a Polyacetal split ring. A nut is tightened over the pipe end, compressing a split ring and seal against the pipe wall to form a secure, mechanical joint — no solvent, heat or specialist tools required.
Key specifications
- Body and nut material: Polypropylene, high-grade copolymer
- Split ring material: Polyacetal
Available in 3 sizes: 32mm x 3/4", 32mm x 1" and 63mm x 1.1/2".
