Plasson Backing Ring Galvanised PN16
The Plasson Backing Ring Galvanised PN16 mates behind a PE stub flange or flange adaptor at the flange face, spreading the bolt load evenly around a galvanised steel ring for corrosion resistance.
Manufactured in Galvanised steel and compliant with EN 1555, EN 12201, UK Water Reg4, it is fitted loose over the stub flange spigot and clamped between the two flange faces — a mechanical (not fused) joint at the flange, matching the stub flange or flange adaptor's own PE-to-pipe electrofusion or spigot weld.
