The Geberit Mapress Copper elbow adaptor turns a Mapress Copper gas run through 90° and out onto a BSP thread in one fitting, saving a joint where pipework needs to change direction and connect onto a threaded component at the same time. Made in DR brass CW602N and built specifically for the Mapress Copper gas range, it's fitted with a yellow HNBR seal ring — the gas-rated seal material, distinct from the standard water-duty range — with a pressing indicator that shows at a glance whether the joint has been correctly pressed, and a yellow protection plug on the pressing socket to keep the seal clean until it's fitted.
