Description
The Geberit Mapress Copper cap gives a permanent, pressed termination for the end of a Mapress Copper gas run, closing off a pipe or a redundant branch without threading or capping plugs.
Made in Cu-DHP copper CW024A (EN 1412) and built specifically for the Mapress Copper gas range, it's fitted with a yellow HNBR seal ring — the gas-rated seal material, distinct from the standard water-duty range — with a pressing indicator that shows at a glance whether the joint has been correctly pressed, and a yellow protection plug on the pressing socket to keep the seal clean until it's fitted.
Key features
- Pressing indicator confirms a completed press
- Leaky if unpressed, so a missed press is easy to spot before commissioning
- Marked in yellow, Mapress's colour coding for the gas range
- Seal ring made of HNBR, yellow
- Pressing socket with yellow protection plug
Suitable for
- For natural gases
- For liquefied gases
- For natural and liquefied gases
- For permanent termination of pipe ends
Available in a size range from 15mm to 54mm.
