SIL 3 Certification
In accordance with IC 61508, Starline ball valves obtained SIL3 certification by demonstrating that all of its range of products fails within the above 90% safe failure traction when operating in a temperature range of -196° to +600°C.
Construction
A350 LF2 is a low-carbon alloy steel that is commonly used in the manufacture of flanges, fittings, valves, and other piping components. The material is known for its strength, toughness, and ductility, making it suitable for high-pressure and high-temperature applications. However, it’s important to note that A350 LF2 steel is not suitable for use in applications that require high levels of corrosion resistance.
