The Geberit Mapress Carbon Steel Reducer With Plain End is a press-fit pipe fitting used to join two different pipe diameters within the Geberit Mapress press-fit system. Instead of soldering, the connection is made mechanically with a pressing tool, giving a secure joint in seconds with no naked flame, no hot-works permit and far less time on site. It is manufactured from non-alloy steel 1.0034 E195 (EN 10305).
Every joint is engineered for installation security: the pressing indicator gives a clear visual confirmation that the fitting has been pressed, while the leak-before-pressed feature ensures any unpressed connection is immediately obvious during the pressure test. The pressing socket is fitted with a transparent protection plug and a black CIIR seal ring for reliable, long-term performance.
