Designed to maintain a waterproof seal around a plastic pipe, the rubber grommet is sized to fit the specific diameter of the pipe. The stainless steel casing of the sleeve contains layers of intumescent material that reacts with the heat of a fire to protect from penetration as a pipe begins to soften at extreme temperatures.
