The Geberit Mapress Carbon Steel Reducer with Plain End is a concentric press-fit reducer for joining pipework of differing diameters, part of the proven Geberit Mapress press-fit system. It delivers a fast, flame-free connection in seconds, with no soldering required and no hot-works permit needed, and is manufactured from non-alloy steel 1.0034 E195 (EN 10305) with an external zinc-plated finish for added protection.
Geberit Mapress fittings are engineered for installation security: a built-in pressing indicator and the leak-before-pressed feature make any unpressed joint immediately apparent, while a transparent protection plug keeps the pressing socket and CIIR seal ring clean until installation.
