The Geberit Mapress Carbon Steel T-piece (equal) is a press-fit branch fitting that forms part of the Geberit Mapress system, allowing a secure pipe connection to be made in seconds. Pressed cold with a Mapress tool, it delivers a fast, flame-free joint with no soldering, no naked flame and no hot-works permit required, and is manufactured from non-alloy steel 1.0034 E195 (EN 10305) with an externally zinc-plated finish.
Every joint is engineered for reliable, repeatable security: an integrated pressing indicator confirms the connection has been made, while the leak-before-pressed design ensures any unpressed fitting is easy to spot during testing. A transparent protection plug on the pressing socket keeps the seal clean before installation, with sealing provided by a black CIIR seal ring.
