The Geberit Mapress Carbon Steel Bend with Plain End is a press-fit pipe bend that forms part of the Geberit Mapress press-fit system, letting you change direction in a run of carbon steel pipework with a fast, flame-free connection made in seconds — no soldering, no naked flame and no hot-works permit required. It is manufactured from non-alloy steel 1.0034 E195 (EN 10305) and is externally zinc-plated for corrosion protection. As a plain-end bend, one connection is pressed while the plain end inserts into the next fitting, and the angle varies by variant.
Every Geberit Mapress fitting is engineered for a secure, verifiable joint: a pressing indicator and the leak-before-pressed feature make any unpressed connection easy to spot during testing, while the transparent protection plug keeps the pressing socket clean until installation. The fitting is supplied with a black CIIR seal ring suited to the approved applications.
