The Geberit Mapress Carbon Steel Slip Coupling is a press-fit pipe coupling that forms part of the Geberit Mapress press-fit system, allowing two pipe ends to be joined with a permanent, leak-tight connection in seconds. Because the joint is made with a pressing tool rather than a naked flame, there is no soldering, no brazing and no need for a hot-works permit, saving time on site and improving safety. It is manufactured from non-alloy steel 1.0034 E195 (EN 10305) and is zinc-plated on the outside for added protection.
Every fitting features a pressing indicator and a leak-before-pressed design, so any joint left unpressed is immediately obvious, and the pressing socket is supplied with a transparent protection plug to keep the seal clean until installation. The CIIR seal ring is engineered to suit the system's intended applications, giving installers a reliable, repeatable connection.
