The Geberit Mapress Carbon Steel Union is a detachable carbon steel union connection that forms part of the Geberit Mapress press-fit system. Pressed in seconds with a Mapress tool, it delivers a fast, flame-free joint with no soldering and no need for a hot-works permit, and is manufactured from non-alloy steel 1.0034 E195 (EN 10305) with an outside zinc-plated finish.
Built for Geberit press-fit security, the fitting features a pressing indicator and a leaky-if-unpressed design so any missed connection is identified before the system is filled. The pressing socket is supplied with a transparent protection plug, and the joint is sealed with a CIIR seal ring and an EPDM flat gasket for a reliable, long-lasting connection.
