Stainless Steel Drainage Trap
The STECKDRAIN Trap is a stainless steel drainage trap designed to maintain a water seal within wastewater systems. Manufactured from austenitic stainless steel in AISI 304 (1.4301) or AISI 316 (1.4401) grades, it offers excellent corrosion resistance, hygiene, and a long service life, even when exposed to aggressive waste streams and cleaning chemicals.
As a water trap, it holds a small volume of water to block sewer gases and odours from entering occupied spaces. This water seal also prevents insects and contaminants from travelling back through the pipework, keeping drainage systems clean and safe.
The trap forms part of the STECKDRAIN stainless steel pipe and fitting system, making it suitable for both gravity and vacuum drainage installations. It connects to sinks, floor drains, equipment drainage, and branch waste lines, giving it broad use across demanding commercial and industrial settings.
