Description
Quiffer Pneumatic Double Acting Actuator – KP30
Keep valves running reliably, cycle after cycle, with the KP30 double-acting actuator. Built for quarter-turn valve automation, it uses compressed air to drive both opening and closing movements with precision, giving a consistent 90° rotation you can rely on. Adjustable travel stops (±2.5°) allow for fine-tuning on site, so the valve position is always exactly where it needs to be.
Durability is at the core of the KP30's design. Its hard anodized aluminium body and shaft resist corrosion even in demanding industrial environments, while fully machined pistons and an anti-ejection retaining ring keep the internal mechanics secure under pressure. Thick actuator walls and large PTFE sliding guides on the pistons work together to minimise wear, so the actuator maintains its performance over thousands of operational cycles rather than degrading after a handful.
Built to ISO 5211 standards, the KP30 fits seamlessly into a existing valve automation setup. For sites that need to meet stricter safety requirements, ratings suitable for ATEX and SIL3 applications are also available. And whether your operations sit in standard conditions or push into extreme territory, the KP30 has you covered: standard units perform reliably from -20°C to +100°C, with low-temperature (-65°C) and high-temperature (+180°C) variants available on request for the harshest environments.
From refineries to water treatment plants, the KP30 is engineered to deliver dependable, low-maintenance valve control, exactly when your process demands it.
Summary:
- Rack-and-pinion double-acting pneumatic actuator designed for quarter-turn (90°) valve automation in industrial environments
- Double-acting (uses compressed air pressure to drive the rotation in both opening and closing directions)
- Standard 90° rotation, with adjustable travel stops (± 2.5° or 0° to 90° depending on the specific tuning)
- Hard anodized aluminum body and shaft for enhanced durability and corrosion resistance, featuring fully machined pistons and an anti-ejection retaining ring on the shaft
- Built to industrial standards including ISO 5211, with available ratings suitable for ATEX and SIL3 safety applications
- Thick actuator walls and large PTFE sliding guides on the pistons reduce wear over extended operational cycles
- Standard working temperatures range from -20°C to +100°C, with extreme low ( -65°C) or high (+180°C) temperature variants available upon request
Applications:
Commonly used in:
- Oil & gas pipelines
- Chemical processing plants
- Water & wastewater treatment
- General industrial automation
