Designed for use with both medium density polyethylene (MDPE) and high density polyethylene (HDPE) pipes, this fitting forms a fusion bonded joint that holds firm under pressure, whether it's buried underground or installed above ground.
Rated at PN16, the Plasson Electrofusion Reducer is built to handle high pressure applications without compromise. Its dual certification under BS EN 12201 and BS EN 1555 means it meets the stringent requirements for both potable water supply systems and gas distribution networks, giving engineers and contractors the confidence to specify it across a broad range of critical infrastructure projects.
Summary:
- Compatible with MDPE and HDPE pipes
- Electrofusion connections
- PN16 rated
- BS EN 12201 Approved and suitable for water supply systems, including drinking water
