P235GH Carbon Steel Butt Weld Concentric Reducer
This is a butt weld concentric reducer manufactured to DIN EN 10253-2, the European standard governing butt welding fittings for pressure service. It connects a DN50 (2 inch) pipe to a DN25 (1 inch) pipe while keeping the centreline aligned, making it the correct choice where flow symmetry and pipe alignment must be maintained.
The fitting is produced in P235GH (material number 1.0345), a non alloy carbon steel specified for elevated temperature pressure service. With a minimum yield strength of 235 MPa, the material is suited to steam, hot water, and general process piping where both pressure integrity and thermal performance are required.
At approximately 0.35 kg, the reducer is a compact, lightweight component. Wall thickness of 5.0 mm ensures adequate pressure capacity in line with EN 10253-2 requirements. Material certification is typically supplied to EN 10204 3.1, providing full traceability from heat to finished fitting.
Applications:
- Power generation and steam distribution systems
- Industrial boilers and pressure vessels
- Oil and gas process piping
- Petrochemical and chemical processing plants
- District heating networks
- Water treatment facilities
- General industrial process pipework
