The Geberit Mapress Stainless Steel slip coupling joins two lengths of Mapress Stainless Steel gas pipe without an internal pipe stop, so it slides freely along the pipe — ideal for repairs and alterations where the run can't be pulled apart to fit a standard coupling.
Made in CrNiMo steel 1.4401 (EN 10088) and built specifically for the Mapress Stainless Steel gas range, it's fitted with a yellow HNBR seal ring — the gas-rated seal material — with a pressing indicator that shows at a glance whether the joint has been correctly pressed, and a yellow protection plug on the pressing socket to keep the seal clean until it's fitted.
