Built for professionals who refuse to compromise, the SXL.171 is a 2-in-1 ratchet engineered to go wherever the job demands,- tight engine bays, awkward undercarriage angles, or high torque fasteners that won't budge without a fight. Extend it from 304 mm all the way to 437 mm across 8 locked adjustment positions, each held firmly in place by a retention detent mechanism that eliminates unwanted shifting under load. The jointed flexible head is friction-braked to hold its angle even when a heavy socket is attached, so it stays exactly where you set it. A fine 72-tooth internal mechanism delivers a precise 5° arc swing, -enough to make short work of fasteners in spaces where a standard ratchet simply won't fit. At roughly 0.83 kg with a compact 37–40 mm head diameter, it carries its weight without adding unnecessary bulk. The head is completely dustproof and watertight, sealing out grease and workshop grit so the internal mechanism stays clean,- no servicing required. Sockets lock securely to the drive tang and won't release until the recessed quick-release button is deliberately pressed. The head structure also allows you to press your palm directly onto the top for extra downforce without risking an accidental direction switch.
