Description
Brass Flanged Transition Fitting
Connects multilayer PEX-AL-PEX pipe to a BSPP threaded connection, forming a reliable transition between pipe and fitted equipment. The flange, collar or shoulder forms part of the connection system, providing a secure seal between the pipe and thread.
Manufactured from brass or nickel plated brass, with EPDM or similar elastomer seals fitted to maintain a watertight joint. Press fit versions incorporate a stainless steel sleeve for additional strength at the connection point.
Designed to meet recognised standards for multilayer piping systems, metallic compression fittings and parallel pipe threads. Certification for potable water applications may apply depending on specification.
