A wrought Iron, black heavy weight socket to EN10241 standard.
Machined from mild steel, the thread is to DIN 2999, ISO 7/1, BS21. Often installed with BS 10255 steel pipe and used for pipelines conveying low pressure process steam, oils, fuels etc.
The fittings have are pressure rated to 25 bar (PN25) with a maximum operating
temperature of 230C
