Description
ASA 300 Raised Face Weld Neck Extra Strong ASTM A105
The ASA 300 Raised Face Weld Neck Extra Strong Flange (ASTM A105) is a high-pressure forged carbon steel piping component engineered for industrial environments. Rated to handle approximately 300 psi at elevated temperatures, it is purpose built for high pressure steam, oil, and petrochemical applications. Its weld neck design allows for a smooth, seamless transition from flange to pipe, significantly reducing mechanical stress and minimizing flow turbulence. The raised face design elevates the gasket surface above the bolting circle, creating a more concentrated sealing force that enhances joint integrity under extreme pressure and temperature conditions.
Summary:
- Ideal for high pressure environments
- Manufactured from Carbon Steel
- Rated to handle approx 300 PSI
- Commonly used in steam, oil and petrochemical pipelines
- Weld nexk for seamless transition from flange to pipe
- Raised face for sealing force
