Description
ABS Threaded Union EPDM BSP
Designed to act as a demountable joint, this fitting allows the easy disconnection and reassembly of sections of pipe without ever needing to cut the line. Constructed from lightweight yet highly impact resistant ABS plastic, it features standard BSP threads that screw directly onto brass valves, pumps, and other threaded components. Inside the union, a heavy duty EPDM rubber O-ring compresses perfectly between the two tailpieces and threaded nut to create a secure, completely watertight seal. Fully food safe and highly resistant to chemicals, this rugged fitting reliably handles extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C up to +70°C. It is an essential, hard wearing component for demanding applications spanning industrial food processing, chilled water networks, and everyday water distribution.
