Electrofusion is a method of joining MDPE, HDPE and other plastic pipes using special fittings that have built-in electric heating elements which are used to weld the joint together. The electrofusion process is able to create a safe and reliable joint due to the uniformly diffused heating process. With electrofusion fittings being able to withstand higher pressures than most other fittings on the market.
